Medix

Medix is the Doc-Bot.

Sometimes he pals up with Sawyer Storm. He's a bot not for surprises and who works purely with logic, but he may seem unable to work with the unpredictable. However, he has been able to find himself a spot during all the works.

Season 1 Rescue Bots Academy[]

He idolizes new Academy science teacher Preceptor and he's Ratchet's nephew. Following a rescue in Griffin Rock, the recruits persuaded Hoist to make new rescue tools for them all. Medix got new claws to allow him to cut through things, and though the initial test went horribly wrong, he and the other recruits enlisted the help of Boulder and Hoist eventually perfected the tools. Medix served as the victim in need of rescuing for an exercise, a role he threw himself into enthusiastically, though it took a while for the recruits to actually rescue him because Hot Shot and Wedge had trouble following Hoist's orders. The Sparksayer gifted Medix with a magnetic power projector. Preceptor took the opportunity to have him as his teaching assistant.

Season 2 Rescue Bots Academy[]

With his new Mul-T-Cog, Medix is able to transform into a helicopter, courtesy of Blades. He's the smartest of the group and the most responsible one, followed by Wedge. It was confirmed that he's good at science. Eventually after Medix has trouble with his new helicopter mode, Whirl insisted on guiding him, although she was jealous at first for for finding out she isn't the only flyer in the group as for now. Blades has also encouraged him for trying to use his new helicopter mode.

His mentor is Blades.

Although his bio suggests Medix being less temperamental than Ratchet, it is confirmed as not true at all.
Of course, Ratchet is his uncle.
His design in the original Rescue Bots Academy promotional art had antennae much like Optimus Prime's, which were removed on the final model.
An ambulance that looks a lot like the original Medix toy's alt-mode appears in the Rescue Bots episode "Family Business".
Medix has the tendency to interact with other animals at all cost. These includes a crab, an eel and many fishes.
He demonstrates he can be a hacker in "Glitch".
He apparently likes really loud music.
He views Whirl as a big sister and looks up to her
Medix was not written as explicitly autistic but was intentionally written in a way that left room for that interpretation
