Dwelling in the depths of space, Energon eaters feed off the energon from the ships they manage to catch. They hunt largely by scent, being able to smell flowing energon. They can also channel energon out through their tails, the more wily of them using the ability to repower ship computers so that other ships are drawn in by their distress calls.
