Charlie Burns is the father of the Burns Family and the police chief of Griffin Rock. He is partnered with Chase. He is also the commanding officer of all the rescue bots. He appears in Season 2 of Rescue Bots Academy.

Biography

Police officer and Boss of the Griffin Rock rescue department, he is a calm, kind and a caring father who always shows direct love towards his children, always putting their safety before his, he always shows great patience towards the bots, teaching them customs of the earth or what they did wrong in a calm and patient way. It's unknown who was his romantic partner, as the Burns children aren't shown to have a mother in the series but that may have differed before the rescue bots arrived.

Pre Rescue Bots

When he was young, Cody's age proximately, he built himself a go-kart with some old parts he found, thing mentioned in the beginning of Cody on Patrol. He also served in the military when he was younger, it was there that he met Optimus Prime and became great friends with him. When the inventions of the doctor Thaddeus Morocco, were deemed to be unsafe, it was him, Doc Greene and Mayor Luskey that exiled Dr. Morocco out of town. In the episode; The Reign of Morocco, it’s widely hinted that Optimus prime was a silent partner in booting out doctor Morocco, it also widely hinted that chief burns and doc Greene lost their wives because of Morocco's unsafe inventions.

Season 1 Rescue Bots

In the first episode of the season Family of Heroes, he accepts the rescue bots as part of his rescue team as a favor to Optimus Prime, introducing them as the new robots of the rescue team.
